Hoe-Mok Chung
Attorney at Law
Mr. Chung is an attorney at law who specializes in licensing and litigation, and is also a patent and trademark attorney. He is mainly interested in corporate and intellectual property law issues.
Before joining Kasan, he had worked as a Senior R&D researcher in GCT Semiconductor Inc. for about 9 years. His research interests include system software and system on chip (SoC) for wireless communications. He also visited IBM T. J. Watson Research Center in New York, USA, as a visiting scholar in 1998.
Mr. Chung received a B. S. in 1993 and a M. S. in 1995, in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, and completed his PhD coursework in SNU School of Electrical Engineering in 1997.
He also received LL. B from Korea National Open University in 2007, and J.D. from Inha University Law School in 2012.
He is admitted to the Korean bar.
He has a good command of English.
